Our testing laboratory We work closely with TÜV and other testing institutions and also have our own in-house testing laboratory. Our lab contains highly sensitive, precise equipment and is run by our safety experts. Our testing laboratory however, does not replace external certification. Quite the contrary, our internal tests give us the confidence that everything works exactly as it should.

Hardness test for our chairs: They have to withstand 100,000 bends, 6,000 tipping tests and 5 drop tests.

GS, CE, TÜV, GUV what do these abbreviations mean? GS = SAFETY TESTED This seal certifies products that have been tested by a recognized, independent test center in accor- dance with current standards and safety require- ments. In addition, a production control test is carried out, to guarantee long-lasting quality and performance. When you buy products with this seal, you have the confidence of knowing that an independent test center has certified that the product is safe. CE = Conformité Européenne (European Conformity) The manufacturer is indicating that they have fulfilled requirements set by the European Union. However, no independent tests are carried out.

TÜV = Technical Inspection Association This denotes associations who test products in accordance with current standards and issue a GS seal. GUV = (German) Social Accident Insurance German Social Accident Insurance is the central organization for occupational insurance associations and accident insurers. They are responsible for the elementary level. They carry out thorough on-site inspections. Products used in daycare centers must comply with accident insurers‘ practical require- ments.
